Connecting with the HPC community at the EasyBuild User Meeting 2026
EPICURE participated in the 11th EasyBuild User Meeting, held from April 21 to 23 in Guimarães, Portugal. The team joined the international HPC community for three days of technical exchange, collaboration, and networking.
The event included hands-on workshops, technical sessions and informal discussions, providing a valuable setting to stay up to date with the latest developments in the EasyBuild tools and engage directly with users, developers and maintainers. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Deucalion supercomputer and the city of Guimarães.
On 22 April, Bibek Chapagain from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center delivered a presentation on EPICURE, introducing the project and its application support services. The session highlighted how expert guidance in performance optimisation, scalability and benchmarking can support researchers in improving their workflows, as well as how to access the EuroHPC systems.
By participating in the EasyBuild User Meeting, EPICURE reinforced its presence within the European HPC community while promoting support services that help users maximise the benefits of advanced computing environments.
