About us

  • About Us – I

    Advancing European supercomputing

    HPC is transforming the way we tackle some of society’s most complex challenges, from artificial intelligence and climate modelling to healthcare, space exploration and advanced research. With a new generation of EuroHPC supercomputers, Europe is providing researchers and innovators with unprecedented computing capabilities.
  • About Us – II

    Turning computing power into impact

    EPICURE — the EuroHPC Application Support Project — brings together the expertise of Europe’s current and future EuroHPC Hosting Entities to help users make the most of these advanced systems. Through specialised Level 2 and Level 3 support, EPICURE provides tailored technical assistance over periods of 3 to 18 months, helping users adapt, improve and scale their applications for EuroHPC architectures.
  • About Us – III

    Supporting applications and sharing expertise

    EPICURE supports users across the application lifecycle, from code activation and scaling to performance analysis, benchmarking, refactoring and optimisation. Beyond technical support, the project promotes knowledge exchange across the European HPC community through architecture-specific training, hackathons, webinars and workshops.

Mission

EPICURE will establish a four-year operation of a distributed European-wide high-performance computing application support service bringing together Application Support Teams (ASTs) set up in all current and future EuroHPC Hosting Entities, operating its supercomputers.

Objectives

  • Provide support services to users that have access to the EuroHPC supercomputers;
  • Deliver the best support solutions based on all partners' long experience in HPC operations and support;
  • Focus on Level 2 and 3 application support in the area of application porting and optimisation for selected applications/user groups with short to medium term support (3-6 months);
  • Development of a European HPC Application Support portal, acting as a single point of contact for European HPC users to retrieve information on the systems offered by the Joint Undertaking.

External advisory board

EPICURE’s External Advisory Board has an advisory role and offers guidance and advice in the project implementation in order to align different WPs and their activities and outcomes. The members of the EAB were selected among the stakeholders from the HPC community in the different countries involved in the project.

General assembly

EPICURE’s General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the project. All beneficiaries of the Consortium are represented with one person in the GA.
