The European HPC Application Support Portal celebrates its first anniversary
One year ago, the EPICURE project launched the European HPC Application Support Portal. The portal enables EuroHPC users to request expert application support through a single point of contact.
Since its launch, the portal has provided projects with access to expert support in areas such as code enablement, scaling, performance analysis, and optimisation. In collaboration with the supported projects, 31 project descriptions have been published, showcasing the wide range of support available through EPICURE.
Meanwhile, the portal’s knowledge base already includes 17 contributions, from training materials and best-practice guides to code examples.
Behind the portal are the Application Support Teams of the EuroHPC hosting entities: 16 partners from 14 countries, all working to help users get the most out of their allocations.
“The portal was created to make it easier for researchers to navigate the support available within the EuroHPC ecosystem. Over the past year, the portal has established a foundation for connecting EuroHPC users with the Application Support Teams. We look forward to building on this foundation, expanding the knowledge base available through the portal, and helping even more users unlock the full potential of EuroHPC supercomputers”, explains Virvatuli Uusimäki, from CSC.
As EuroHPC adds more systems, EPICURE will continue to expand the portal’s services and resources.
