EPICURE gains visibility at HPC Users’ Conference in Poland

EPICURE was showcased at the 18th HPC Users’ Conference – KUKDM 2026, organised by ACC Cyfronet AGH in Zakopane, Poland. The event, which drew over 200 participants this year, reunited researchers and professionals working with high-performance computing (HPC) to exchange knowledge on artificial intelligence (AI), large datasets, and advanced computational methods.

As part of the programme, Andrzej Dorobisz (ACC Cyfronet AGH) delivered the presentation “EPICURE – boost your computations!”, introducing the project’s key services and demonstrating how users can access expert support in performance optimisation and benefit from some of the largest supercomputers in Europe.

In addition, EPICURE was highlighted in key moments throughout the conference, including Marek Magryś, Cyfronet’s Director, opening presentation about Cyfronet’s activity, and Rafał Duczmal, Chairman of the EuroHPC JU, presentation about Supercomputing in Europe.

Beyond the sessions, EPICURE was featured in the HPC Users’ Conference – KUKDM 2026 through poster presentations, roll-ups and distributed materials. The Cyfronet team had the chance to engage in one-on-one conversations during the poster session about EPICURE, with participants showing clear interest in the project’s services and opportunities for collaboration on the HPC support.

This event represented a great opportunity to promote EPICURE in Poland and emphasise its value to the HPC community. The high level of engagement confirmed the relevance of expert support today in performance optimisation, scalability, and benchmarking.

Earlier in March, EPICURE was also showcased during two Cyfronet training sessions, “Running Calculations the HPC way” and “Different Workloads on HPC”, each attracting around 60 attendees. These sessions introduced users to practical aspects of working with supercomputers, reinforcing the relevance of EPICURE’s support in helping both new and experienced users to make the most of HPC resources.
