From December 10 to 12, 2025, EPICURE hosted the Python meets HPC Hackathon at KTH, Stockholm, Sweden. Over three days, researchers, developers, and HPC enthusiasts came together on-site and online to optimise real code, collaborate with mentors, and explore the best practices for performance and scalability.

With a strong focus on hands-on experience, the hackathon provided participants with expert-led sessions on porting and optimising code. Participants worked directly on their code and had the opportunity to contribute to impactful open-source HPC projects, while connecting and networking with the EuroHPC communities.
